Service was performed on "09/12/2025", for the info-center message "Service Brake Pad Monitor. " Upon the technician's analysis, the Service Manager (Rodney Bessey) advised me that the rear brake pads & rotors were at minimal service life, recommending replacement of both, to which I agreed. Upon the Technician's initial performance of the service, it was additionally determined the Emergency Brake shoes were completely gone. This prompted Rodney to request my presence to visually see the overall service needed. With additional consultation with Service Mgr Norm Fish, it was determined that due to time constraints of the day, the replacement of the pads/rotors would be completed, with follow-up service appointment for the E-brake made. TRUE Professionalism of the technician and Service Mgr's Rodney & Norm. Thank You!! :-)

I appreciate that there was no long wait time. My vehicle was brought in 5 minutes after I arrived and employees treated it as if it was their own. Only minor problem i has was finding my vehicle after completion of service. I am a 100% disabled veteran and had to walk around the entire lot to find my vehicle.

I’ve been a GM owner for over 20 years, and this purchase experience was by far the best I’ve had. Rob is an excellent salesman. He took the time to make sure I was getting what I really wanted, and never made me feel rushed to make a decision. The bottle of wine, shirt, and hat offered at the close of the deal was awesome. It was one of those gestures that are totally unnecessary, but show appreciation for your business, which I’ve never seen before at any GM dealership. Overall, the deal on my new Sierra was well beyond what I’d expected. I don’t think I’ve ever spent such little time coming down to terms that I’m happy with and signing for the vehicle. The entire process was relaxed, but efficient. When it’s time for something new again, I’ll be going back to Ellis.

Took over a hour to change the oil. Was suppose to rotate tires and top off fluids. The fluids. Not sure if the tires were rotated( had a issue before of tires not being done) the fluids weren't topped off. Makes me wonder if the oil was even changed.

I was told the day I signed my paperwork and purchased my vehicle that I would be getting a 1000 dollar cash back and that it would be 1000 and some because my plates were transferred to my new vehicle. I was also told it would 7 to 10 business but to expect in the mail. I purchased my vehicle on February 6th, 2026. To date I still have not received any type of cash back cheque nor have plates been reimbursed. I spoke to Ellis and the finance department has told me that he has to speak with his accountant. I have not heard any response from the salesman. I addressed this situation today with no reply. Maybe you GMC can help me with this ongoing issue. Overall the experience was good. Work was completed in a reasonable timeframe (considering appointment time vs finish time), and the work done was mostly completed well. Staff wasn’t overly friendly, but cordial at least. I give 4 stars because it’s clear that the service was rushed. I say that because the tires were rotated, but the TPMS sensors were not re-learned, nor were the tire pressures reset as per manufacturer standards. It may be a minor inconvenience to someone like myself for air pressure, but I live 40 minutes from the dealership. I don’t have a re-learn tool for the TPMS. I understand some don’t care that they don’t read positionally correct, but it is incomplete work.

The service team at Ellis was great to deal with. Listened to my description of issues over the phone and got me scheduled promptly. Their master tech checked over my vehicle and test drove it, unable to determine anything wrong. I was charged $1500 to have a light replaced. The light was replaced and it never worked. I came back three weeks later and I had to use my insurance and pay the rest of the money, including my deductible in order to have the car fixed.
